Sandeep is a very passionate teacher and has eight years of teaching experience. He has taught all level of trainees ranging from medical students to specialist registrars. He is always keen to teach at every opportunity in spite of his heavy clinical commitments. He has received significant recognition and appreciation for his teaching.

He is very well known for his ECG teaching and regularly delivers formal lectures to all medical and non-medical staffs at the hospital. He has immense collection of high quality ECGs of all cardiac conditions.

‘’Interpreting ECG is not only challenging and interesting but extremely vital for all the junior doctors. Approximately, 70% of patients presenting to medical unit or emergency department report of cardiac symptoms. Failure to assess ECG accurately can result in fatal consequences. Many doctors in training have developed phobia towards ECG. This course has been tailored to provide basic understandings of the 12-lead ECG and to eliminate such phobias. The course is designed specifically for doctors in foundation year and core medical training. At the end of the course, we aim doctors to assess ECG comfortably and accurately’’

 

During the course, we also provide teaching materials in the form of a booklet which harbors contents from the lecture. The book has been written exclusively by Sandeep and includes ECG images.
